Vice Chair
Paula first went to Lourdes in 1984, as part of a Parish Group. Her early experiences in Lourdes led her to a career in nursing and introduced her to her future husband.
She joined the Birmingham Diocesan Pilgrimage in 2013 and served as Chief Nurse for the Pilgrimage for 8 years. She remains a member of the Nursing Team. Two of her proudest moments in Lourdes were working alongside her daughters, who followed her into a career in nursing.
Paula has recently retired following a 35-year career in the NHS specialising in Cancer care. She now works as Clergy Social Welfare Advisor for the Archdiocese of Birmingham.
