Ms Nikki Wisdom

Bio

My background is of working as an A&E nurse, latterly as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner, before moving to Primary Care. I completed a degree as a Nurse Practitioner, and am currently studying a MSc in Advanced Practice. I am also a non-medical independent prescriber.

My pilgrimage is the Diocese of Lancaster Lourdes Pilgrimage, which takes about 300 pilgrims. On my pilgrimage I often need to lead the decision making and so I have found the BLMA to be a wonderful source of up-to-date information and a invaluable support.

My first visit to Lourdes was in 2001, as a student nurse, have gone at least one a year ever since. Was appointed as Chief Nurse in 2014 and I manage all medical/nursing aspects of the pilgrimage.
