Jude has been to Lourdes both with the Shrewsbury Diocese and independently since 2017.
As a consultant in palliative medicine, she’s passionate about bringing to Lourdes all who wish to go, and bringing Lourdes home for those unable to fulfil that wish in person.
As a disabled woman, Jude’s prayers for Lourdes are that it develops welcoming and safe accessibility for all, led by those with both overt and hidden disabilities, and that its foundation through two strong women, Our Lady and St Bernadette, both formed in God’s image, is embraced and their message is heard.
