Virtual Conference 2020

Friday 13th November 2020

The virtual BLMA conference on 31st October was a great success with over 60 delegates from all around the mainland UK. Paula, Hamilton and Joe made an amazing administrative team, so a special thanks goes to them for their hard work in the planning and execution of a day that ran without major mishap! Many thanks to our speakers, Dr Monica Doyle from Dundee, Dr. Michael Moran, Dr De Franciscis and Mgr Xavier D'Arodes, Dr Joe O'Dwyer, as well as to David Walsh and John and Nick Tangney from our. tour operators.
As you would expect, for such an important topic as Covid-19, the delegates input was really important, so thanks also to all of them for contributing throughout the day. The outcomes of the workshops will be sent to all delegates as part of a post conference pack.
Kim and Joe, chair and vice chair respectively, represented our views to the pilgrimage directors conference on the following Wednesday. Also, Joe and Jane wrote an article for Dr De Franciscis for inclusion in the AMIL Bulletin.
