I trained in London and worked in Brighton as an anaesthetic consultant until the pandemic. I was a very reluctant companion with two small children on my husband’s first Lourdes pilgrimage in 1997, when I unexpectedly found it an amazing and fulfilling experience. After a few gaps as the children grew, I’ve been with Arundel and Brighton Diocesan pilgrimage every year since 2008, and was their Chief Doctor from 2015 to 2019. I was Chair of the BLMA from 2016-2019, and am currently the BLMA webmaster.
